The Nederlander Organization has announced that the four-time Tony nominated musical sensation JEKYLL & HYDE will play the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood for a limited 3 week engagement tonight, February 12 - March 3, 2013.

I have to say that the show as a whole was good - the sets were fun and inventive and the singing was excellent; however several aspects were not up to par.

The Actors Fund presents a very special MUSICAL MONDAY- FRANK WILDHORN & FRIENDS with the Multi-GRAMMY and Tony Nominated Composer of Jekyll and Hyde and special guest performers - Deborah Cox, Janet Dacal, Lisa Datz, Carly Robyn Green, Sam Harris, Clint Holmes, Tracy Miller and Teal Wicks.

Lane/Bonnie Comley have just announced the first preview, opening night and ticket on-sale dates for the new Broadway production of JEKYLL & HYDE, starring Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis in the dual title role of 'Dr. Henry Jekyll' & 'Edward Hyde' and Grammy-nominated R&B superstar Deborah Cox as 'Lucy'.

The New York Times reports that film producer Mike Medavoy ('Black Swan') and Rick Nicita of RP Media have teamed up to buy the film rights to the Broadway musical JEKYLL AND HYDE. The musical, with a book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and music by Frank Wildhorn, is set to return to Broadway's Marquis Theater in Spring 2013 following a 25-week National Tour.

'SING OUT, RAISE HOPE,' a benefit concert featuring the nation's premier vocal groups and Broadway star CHRISTINE EBERSOLE, will take place tonight, January 19, 2013 at The Town Hall in New York City. Presented by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni Association the evening will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (www.pedaids.org). The Yale Whiffenpoofs,the NYU N'Harmonics, The Young People's Chorus of New York City-- and special guest Broadway Legend Christine Ebersole - will perform a cappella and choral renditions of American jazz classics, contemporary pop-hits, holiday favorites, and more.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment will present the Tony Award-winning (2008 Best Play Revival), hilarious, sexy, non-stop comedy, BOEING-BOEING, written by Marc Camoletti, translated by Beverley Cross & Francis Evans and directed by Jeff Maynard. BOEING-BOEING will preview tonight, January 18, 2013 (with a press opening on Saturday, January 19) and runs through Sunday, February 10, 2013 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

On Twitter, Broadway veterans Clay Aiken and Constantine Maroulis are having a twitter battle, after Aiken posted a photo of the Jekyll & Hyde set, but apparently never showed up for the show. Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce that individual tickets for the all-new production of JEKYLL & HYDE go on-sale to the public Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. JEKYLL & HYDE will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph St.) for two weeks only, March 12 - 24, 2013.
