"SING OUT, RAISE HOPE," a benefit concert featuring the nation's premier vocal groups and Broadway star Christine Ebersole, will take place tonight, January 19, 2013 at The Town Hall in New York City. Presented by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni Association the evening will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (www.pedaids.org). The Yale Whiffenpoofs,the NYU N'Harmonics, The Young People's Chorus of New York City-- and special guest Broadway Legend Christine Ebersole - will perform a cappella and choral renditions of American jazz classics, contemporary pop-hits, holiday favorites, and more.

WHAT - One of three annual benefit concerts produced in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs, "SING OUT, RAISE HOPE" brings together the talents and resources of notable alumni and student groups from Yale and NYU along with the internationally renowned Young People's Chorus of New York City. Previous celebrity guest-performers have included Idina Menzel, Deborah Cox, Darren Criss, Zooey Deschanel, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. This annual January performance supports the life-saving initiatives of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
