BWW Review: WONDERFUL at Basement Theatre

This one-man show portrays a professional clergyman-educator with a deep passion for film and theatre. The combined efforts of playwright Dean Parker and actor Andrew Laing portray a character who is subtle and complex, familiar and loveable. An excellent performance will allow the audience to feel Brother Vianney's own emotions.

The Lakewood Playhouse is will present its 6th annual special joint presentation with its very own Lakewood Institute of Theatre, "THE VELVETEEN RABBIT" for 8 shows only. The famous story by Margery Williams is adapted for the stage for an amazing adventure for the entire family!! The Show will run from October 25th through the November 4th and be performed on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm!

Chloe x Halle Annouce Debut Album

According to Billboard, sisters Chloe x Halle have announced their debut album, THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT. In a statement to Billboard, the R&B singers said: 'Our debut album means so much to us! This is three years of self-discovery, vulnerability, and growth, all put into one album. We've put our hearts and souls into every lyric, every beat, and we cannot wait for the world to hear.' Freeform Releases Its New Lineup of TV and Movie Offerings for January 2018

Freeform, Disney's young adult television and streaming network, will debut the premiere of grown- ish, on January 3, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. EST, in a special two-episode event. From the executive producer of ABC's Emmy-nominated black ish, comes grown-ish, a half-hour spinoff comedy tackling current social issues and complexities facing both students and administrators.

OTHER PEOPLE'S WARS Opens at BATS April 17, Along with NZ International Comedy Festival

BATS presents the opening of Other People's Wars tomorrow night, the adaptation of Nicky Hagar's controversial book, presented by the same creative team of Slouching Toward Bethlehem and the same writing team behind the hit 2007 show The Hollow Men. In addition, Nucking Futs continues this week with only five shows to go. Finally, nine shows will be presented as part of the 2012 NZ International Comedy Festival.
