This Broadway's Rising Stars program featured music and dance, coupled with witty insider tidbits, all performed by Broadway's finest rising talent from these leading theatrical institutions. Spoleto Festival USA 2010 came to a close on Sunday with strong attendance at the Festival Finale at Middleton Place. Despite temperatures soaring in the upper 90s, more than 3,000 people attended the annual event, which featured a Carolina Chocolate Drops concert followed by fireworks over the historic Ashley River plantation.

A starry Broadway cast portrays Gordon's own family story - complete with a tough Bronx-born father and former 'Borscht Belt' singer/comedian mother - in a tale of two generations' struggles and triumphs in the decades from World War II through the 1990s.
