The fall 2010-2011 season at The Town Hall is set to include the annual BROADWAY CABARET FESTIVAL. All Broadway Music! All Broadway Stars! All Weekend Long, October 15 - 17, 2010.

Students from AMDA, CAP21, Julliard, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Carnegie Melon, Marymount and The New School made their Broadway debut on the stage of The Town Hall last night, July 19, at the 4th Annual Summer Broadway Festival, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Spoleto Festival USA 2010 came to a close on Sunday with strong attendance at the Festival Finale at Middleton Place. Despite temperatures soaring in the upper 90s, more than 3,000 people attended the annual event, which featured a Carolina Chocolate Drops concert followed by fireworks over the historic Ashley River plantation.

Created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for the Town Hall, the new Broadway performers include Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid), Karen Mason (Mama Mia!), Astaire Award-winner Spencer Liff (Cry- Baby), Michael Winther (Mama Mia!), Douglas Ladnier (Jekyll & Hyde) and Ann Harada (Avenue Q).

Previews will begin today at Virginia's Signature Theatre for the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees written by Ricky Ian Gordon, the award-winning composer of the opera The Grapes of Wrath and the musicals Dream True and My Life with Albertine. A starry Broadway cast portrays Gordon's own family story - complete with a tough Bronx-born father and former 'Borscht Belt' singer/comedian mother - in a tale of two generations' struggles and triumphs in the decades from World War II through the 1990s.

Signature Theatre, the current recipient of the Tony Award® for Regional Theatre, presents the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees by Ricky Ian Gordon, composer of the acclaimed opera The Grapes of Wrath and the OBIE Award-winning Orpheus and Euridice, as well as the musicals My Life with Albertine and Dream True.
