The New York Times has announced the final schedule of interviews for the ninth annual Arts & Leisure Weekend, Jan. 7 to 10. The Times's signature event is a four-day celebration of the arts featuring TimesTalks interviews between New York Times journalists and celebrated guests from film, media, music, television and theater.

Banana Shpeel, the latest Cirque du Soleil production written and directed by David Shiner, has shifted its performance dates and will now begin previews in New York on Thursday, February 25, 2010 (rather than February 4) at the Beacon Theatre (2124 Broadway).

Michael Cumpsty, Julianne Moore, David Hare, Lynn Redgrave, Vanessa Redgrave and Martin Short, among others, will join New York Times writers to discuss their careers and crafts as part of the annual New York Times Arts and Leisure Weekend, which will take place from January 5th through 7th, 2007

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Cirque du Soleil will present Kooza under the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) at the Santa Monica Pier from October 16 through December 20.
