Cirque du Soleil will present a special engagement of the new show Banana Shpeel at San Francisco's Golden Gate Theatre with performances from Saturday, October 16 through Sunday, November 14, 2010.

Banana Shpeel opened at the Beacon Theatre (2124 Broadway) on May 19 and performances are scheduled until August 29. BroadwayWorld.com sat down with producer extraordinaire Marty Schmelky to get his take on the 2010 Tony Season!

Banana Shpeel celebrated it's opening night yesterday, May 19 at 7:00pm at the Beacon Theatre. Previews began on April 29 and performances are scheduled until August 29. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the starry arrivals.
