Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) just announced casting for the world premiere of HEARTLESS by Sam Shepard and directed by Daniel Aukin. The production runs August 7 through September 16, 2012 with an August 27 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Signature Theatre Company today announced a one-week extension for MY CHILDREN! MY AFRICA! by Athol Fugard and directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Following the huge success of last year's production of Kismet, director Paul Lincoln and the LaGuardia High School Opera Workshop tackle this completely original work, written and composed by Tony Award nominees Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy) and Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde, Pirates!). The show plays a strictly limited run, with its last performance today, May 6th at 2:00pm.
