NAT TURNER IN JERUSALEM, the first production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) 2016/17 Season, will host a post-performance discussion entitled "…And Justice for All?" on Sunday, October 2 following the 7pm performance with leaders from the faith-based, legal, political, social justice, and artistic communities.

The 2016-2017 PNC Pops season begins with a bang as the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and guest conductor Lawrence Loh take the audience to worlds beyond imagination with "The Music of John Williams" on September 30 through October 2 at Heinz Hall.

Overtone Industries, a celebrated force in the evolution of contemporary music theatre and experimental opera, will share the next phase of its epic new multidisciplinary production, ICELAND, in concert form, at the Ford Theatres' stunning, newly renovated amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 8:30pm. Written and composed by O-Lan Jones, in collaboration with critically acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Emmett Tinley, ICELAND is a modern love story, set in a mythical and timeless world, where ancient creatures challenge the hero and heroine on an archetypal journey. The work tells an intimate story, beginning in an Icelandic airport and journeying off the map of the known world, into the realm of "The Hiddenfolk" and the vast mythic inner landscapes of Iceland. The ICELAND Concert at the Ford, presented for the first time with full orchestration and complete score, will be directed and choreographed by local legend Ken Roht, with musical direction by David O, as well as additional creative scenic design elements and impressionistic costumes. Blending Lady Gaga-esque popstar theatricality with Blade Runner's dark comic vision, the world premiere of the Siamese Sex Show, a hip hop musical, takes place in the dystopian future. The mysterious conglomerate Monocorp fabricates an epidemic condemning intimacy to profit from its "safe" new pseudo-sex product called the Love Light. At an underground 'intimacy' speakeasy called "The Siamese Sex Show," four fallen popstars gather in collusion to plan their revenge against Monocorp's devious CEO. As the world teeters on the brink of destruction, can these unlikely heroes overcome their differences in time to stop Monocorp's evil agenda?

BOOTLEG THEATER is thrilled to announce the second show of its 2016-2017 season, THE STAND- IN, written by Alicia Adams & Peter Monro and directed by Patrick Murphy. THE STAND- IN will begin previews on Thursday, October 13 at 7pm; will open on Saturday, October 15 at 7pm and run through Saturday, November 5 at the Bootleg Theater, 2220 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles.
