The San Francisco Early Music Society's 2013-14 concert series continues the weekend of January 31 - February 2, 2014 in an inspired program by the Galax Quartet with contralto Karen Clark. Titled Chromatic Clusters, the program pairs avant-garde music from the 16th century with new music from today, including the world premiere of Roy Wheldon's On the Petaluma River and the West Coast premiere of Joseph Schwantner's Dream Drapery: Thoreau Songs.
According to Zap2it, a new casting notice for the hit AMC series' fifth season has been posted on Acting-Auditions.org, with 'new series regulars, recurring roles, and guest starring roles' needing to be filled. The notice also confirms that production on the fifth season will begin in 'early 2014.'

The Walking Dead is keeping a few more of its survivors around full-time. According to TV Guide, showrunners have inked deals with Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney to return for the fourth season of the hit show as series regulars.
