David Miller, the resident New Yorker from the multi-platinum musical group Il Divo, doesn't want his bride to walk down the aisle to just any old wedding march.

These good looking gentlemen with their operatic voices definitely have that certain 'something' that appeals to a wide range of people. And, judging by the response of the crowd at the Fox Theatre (July 10, 2009), they're likely to be around for a while.

Since coming together in 2004, four of the greatest voices in the world, David Miller, Carlos Mar?n, Urs Buhler and S?bastien Izambard have spearheaded an entire musical genre by bringing the sound of opera to the world of popular music and Il Divo is set to perform at the Fox Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 17. With over 22 million albums sold to date, Il Divo continues to confirm performances around the world as part of their massive touring plans for 2009 in support of their fifth album The Promise, which is approaching PLATINUM status in the U.S. The 2009 tour, 'An Evening with Il Divo' begins in Manchester and will perform in 31 European cities before heading to North America. On April 30th, Times Square Hard Rock Cafe welcomed 'Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway' with the purpose to raise money for World Hunger. The Cast of performers included Rob Evan (Jekyll and Hyde), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera), Steve Blanchard (Beauty and the Beast), Carter Calvert (Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar) and Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening) and many more!

PBS will air Spike Lee's film adaptation of PASSING STRANGE in 2010. The film recently had its New York premiere when it played the Tribeca Film festival. Passing Strange will air as part of PBS' 'Great Performances'.

Cast members of Eccentrics of San Francisco's Barbary Coast...a magical escapade, in period costume will be present at Lotta?s Fountain to commemorate the 1906 Quake in the early morning of April 18th. They?ll pass out souvenir wooden-nickels and invite the crowd to visit the San Francisco Magic Parlor in the Chancellor Hotel that evening. This event takes place every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm. Tickets cost $30 (entertainment charge; refreshments available before show).
