Viacom Music Group, which includes MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo, today announced the first batch of diverse artists set to join Warner Bros. Recording artists The Flaming Lips in their quest to break the Guinness World Records® title for the Most Live Concerts In 24 Hours (Multiple Cities) during the Webby Award winning O Music Awards, www.omusicawards.com, a digitally driven event that celebrates and honors the artists, fans and innovators impacting digital music culture.

Paramount Pictures, founded in 1912 as the Famous Players Film Company, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. To mark this milestone, Museum of the Moving Image will present a month-long film series, from today, June 2 through July 1, 2012, featuring sixteen films produced by Paramount during one of its greatest decades. The films will be shown in archival 35mm prints and digital restorations provided by the studio.

La MaMa will present the World Premiere of The Etiquette of Death, a Chris Tanner Production co-directed by Everett Quinton and Julie Atlas Muz, and choreographed by Julie Atlas Muz, with contributions by a slew of New York's finest downtown artists.

Welcome to Desire, the fantastical reinterpretation of Tennessee Williams' Streetcar Named Desire by Nari Tomassetti Presents returns to the AllWays Lounge and Theater for a second ribald run. Hailed by the NOLA Defender's Jim Fitzmorris as containing "…the life force of (a) five day event" Welcome to Desire premiered at the 2011 New Orleans Fringe Festival to rave reviews. The show includes an original score by Matt Bell played live by his symphonic orchestra, epic battles of man versus beast, rollicking shadow puppets, punk rock divas, and wanton wildcats.

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, today announced its feature film selections in the Spotlight and Cinemania sections, as well as Special Screenings and the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival lineup. The 11th edition of the Festival will take place from April 18 to April 29 in New York City.
