After 17 years, Tony n' Tina are heading on their honeymoon. The Route 66 Theatre Company will present the Chicago premiere of HIGH FIDELITY...THE MUSICAL, in its first major production since its Broadway run in 2006.

Orange County, California, 1975. For Walter Wells, it's the happiest place on earth. He has a beautiful wife. Two great kids. A house with a pool. Contentment. Until fate strikes a devastating blow, leaving Walter with no reason to put the pieces of his life back together. He resists attempts to help, especially the unexpected - and unwanted - offer from a Vietnamese refugee named Bao Ngo, who bears his own sadness. Then, across a cultural divide, Walter and Bao find a game to share, a song, a meal and then a way back in this uplifting - and surprisingly funny - new play by a rising star in American theatre.

Arden Theatre Company continues its 2009/10 season with the Philadelphia premiere of Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire.

Due to popular demand, the hit song "I'm a Believer" has been added to the smash Broadway musical, SHREK THE MUSICAL®. Since the musical opened on Broadway last year, an instrumental version of the classic 1960s song was played as patrons left the theatre. Now, beginning with the performance on Friday, October 2nd, the entire company will perform "I'm a Believer."

Page 73 Productions (Liz Jones and Asher Richelli, Executive Directors) and New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Associate Director) will present the world premiere of Heidi Schreck's riveting new play "Creature," directed by Leigh Silverman. This Off Broadway engagement will be performed at the Ohio Theatre, 66 Wooster Street (between Spring and Broome Streets). Previews begin on Tuesday, October 27, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. Performances will run through November 21.

Elijah Wood, Rosie Perez and Amber Tamblyn are a few of the stars confirmed to perform in the 9th annual 'The 24 Hour Plays' on Broadway, to be presented November 9 at the American Airlines Theatre. Each year, the event raises money for the Urban Arts Partnership, an organization that brings vital arts education programs into New York City public school classrooms.

Hudson Stage announced its fall production, the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, RABBIT HOLE, by Kimberly Akimbo and "Shrek" playwright David Lindsay Abaire, will be its fall mainstage production. RABBIT HOLE will be directed by HSC producer Dan Foster of ' Mary's Wedding' and 'Murderers' and Denise Bessette and Olivia Sklar will act as Executive Producers.

The Orange Girls Theatre company wraps up its 2009 season with the journey of a seemingly stereotypical housewife as she attempts to rewrite the story of her life in David Lindsay-Abaire's screwball comedy WONDER OF THE WORLD, presented September 25 through October 11 at COCA's Anheuser-Busch Black Box Theater.
