Westport Country Playhouse announces that due to high ticket demand for its current production of Lerner & Loewe's 'Camelot,' an extra week of performances has been added, extending through Saturday, November 5. Additional performances are scheduled on Wed., Nov. 2, at 2 p.m.; Thurs., Nov. 3, at 8 p.m., Fri., Nov. 4, at 8 p.m.; and Sat., Nov. 5, at 3 and 8 p.m. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Great works of literature are often beautifully adapted into opera and ballet. Think of Federico Garcia Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba, to name just one. Jean Giraudoux's The Madwoman of Chaillot is also tremendously passionate and digs deep into the female psyche, producing emotional rhythms that lend themselves to music.
