Photo Flash: In Rehearsal for BLUE/ORANGE at the Young Vic

David Haig, Luke Norris and Daniel Kaluuya star in the revival of Joe Penhall's BLUE/ORANGE at the Young Vic, directed by Matthew Xia. The production runs May 12 to July 2, and works from a slightly updated version of Penhall's Olivier Award-winning play. Blue/Orange, which centres on a man confined to a psychiatric ward, examines race, ethics, sanity and prejudice in a sharp state-of-the-nation examination. David Haig Joins Extended Run of BLUE/ORANGE at the Young Vic

Originally scheduled to run through June 25, Joe Penhall's BLUE/ORANGE has extended until July 2, 2016 at the Young Vic. The Daily Mail also writes that David Haig will join Daniel Kaluuya and Luke Norris in the cast when the production begins on May 12.

West End's WELCOME HOME, CAPTAIN FOX! Will Launch at Donmar Warehouse, Feb. 18

Welcome Home, Captain Fox!, Anthony Weigh's new version of Jean Anouilh's hit 1937 comedy Le Voyageur Sans Bagage, will begin previews at The Donmar Warehouse from Thursday 18 February . The production is directed by Blanche McIntyre, and a cast that includes Michelle Asante, Barnaby Kay, Rory Keenan, Katherine Kingsley, Trevor Laird, Sian Thomas, Danny Webb, Fenella Woolgar and Daniel York.

Review Roundup: West End's GUYS & DOLLS

The West End transfer of GUYS & DOLLS opened at the Savoy Theatre on January 6, for a limited run through March 12. Sophie Thompson and Jamie Parker reprise their roles as Miss Adelaide and Sky Masterson, with David Haig as Nathan Detroit and Siubhan Harrison as Sarah Brown. Let's see what the critics had to say:

BWW Review: GUYS AND DOLLS, New Alexandra Theatre Birmingham, November 25 2015

Guys and Dolls has a long musical history. Originating and premiering on Broadway in 1950 and winning the Tony Award for Best Musical the following year, the show was soon turned into a film starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra, which it is most fondly recognised for. There have been a multitude of successful revivals over the years and this one is currently enjoying a couple of pre-West End engagements before it opens at the Savoy Theatre for a limited run, starting next month.

Harrison and Haig Join Parker and Thompson In Savoy's GUYS AND DOLLS!

Full casting is announced for the highly acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre revival of Guys and Dolls, which is at the New Alexandra Theatre from Tues 24 November to Sat 5 December 2015, prior to a strictly limited run at the Savoy Theatre in the West End.

Mark Rylance to Star in West End Transfer of FARINELLI AND THE KING

Shakespeare's Globe and Sonia Friedman Productions are delighted to announce the West End transfer of Claire van Kampen's critically-acclaimed new play Farinelli and the King, directed by John Dove, designed by Jonathan Fensom and starring Mark Rylance (Wolf Hall, Jerusalem, Richard III, Twelfth Night), as King Philippe V of Spain. Sam Crane will once again play the acting role of Farinelli, while the singing role will be reprised by opera star, Iestyn Davies and shared withRupert Enticknap. The rest of the cast will also transfer with Huss Garbiya playing Doctor Jose Cervi, Melody Grove playing Isabella Farnese, Colin Hurley as Metastasio and Edward Peel as De la Cuadra.

Original Play PRESSURE by David Haig Set to Premiere on 5/31

Pressure is a new play by David Haig, who also features in the cast as Dr James Stagg. Pressure tells the little-known but true story of Dr James Stagg, a Scottish meteorologist summoned to the Allied Headquarters in Portsmouth to advise General Eisenhower. It will be staged less than 20 miles away at Chichester during the 70th anniversary month of the D-Day landings.
