Great Lakes Theater will kickoff its 63rd season by returning to the rotating repertory format, presenting two captivating productions that transport audiences into a world of magic and wonder. Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods and William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Great Lakes Theater (GLT) concludes its 62nd season with a musical celebration of country legend Patsy Cline in Always…Patsy Cline, performing in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, through May 19, 2024. Check out production photos here!
In stark contrast to their secretive 2017 production DODO, Bricolage's latest immersive endeavor, The Forest of Everywhere, is a whimsical sensory-friendly children's experience based on their 2016 production, Welcome to Here. Originally commissioned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust for the EQT Children's Theater Festival, Welcome to Here was designed to welcome children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Building on the success of its predecessor, The Forest of Everywhere will enjoy a much longer, three-week run and will feature an expanded open-world forest environment along with new characters and experiences. Bricolage is proud to premiere this production in conjunction with the 2018 EQT Children's Theater Festival as a recommended show.

WEST SIDE STORY, the Jerome Robbins (concept development), Leonard Bernstein (Music), Arthur Laurents (book), and Stephen Sondheim (lyrics), had an interesting road from idea to Broadway production to revivals. The script is now in production by the Baldwin Wallace Department of Theatre and Dance and the Conservatory of Music's Musical Theatre Program.
The New York Musical Theatre Festival in association with Jeffery & Elizabeth Passero are pleased to announce the production of KIKI BABY, directed by Lonny Price and Matt Cowart. KIKI BABY will play six performances at the Theatre at St. Clements (423 West 46th Street, between 9TH & 10TH Avenues). JAY JOHNSON: THE TWO AND ONLY! will open on Broadway Thursday, September 28, 2006, at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street), it was announced by the show's producers.
JAY JOHNSON: THE TWO AND ONLY! will have a limited engagement at the Brentwood Theatre January 20 to February 19, 2006, prior to transferring to the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway.
JAY JOHNSON: THE TWO AND ONLY! will make its Broadway bow at the Helen Hayes Theatre this spring with its previews set for Tuesday, March 7, and its opening on Sunday, March 19 2006.
