The White Plains Performing Arts Center play reading series that features the Tony Award-winners for "Best Play" since the award's creation in 1948 continues with this months' reading of Francis Goodrich & Albert Hackett's THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK on Thursday, November 20 at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each. The Nakd Stage Play Reading Series features actors with scripts in hand, no sets, costumes or props. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WORDS.
The Follen Angels Perform Dinner Theatre Concert in Brookline Tonight

The Follen Angels, an international jazz and cabaret recording artist ensemble, presents Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?, a dinner theatre concert of classic tunes of the 50's, 60's and 70's, tonight, November 15 at 7 pm at the Holiday Inn ballroom, 1200 Beacon St., Brookline. Tickets include a full-course buffet dinner followed by a musical celebration featuring great classic tunes that have stood the test of time. Buffet dinner commences at 7 pm, followed by the performance at 7:45 pm.

Josh Nelson to Lead SOUL DOCTOR Off-Broadway; Performances Begin 11/26

Rehearsals are now underway for the new off-Broadway production of Soul Doctor, created by Daniel S. Wise, David Schechter, and Shlomo Carlebach and directed and choreographed by Mindy Cooper. This new presentation of Soul Doctor will be performed in one act at the Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street. With the venue's intimacy and spiritual setting, the show's story and vibrant music will captivate theatergoers. Previews are set to begin Wednesday, November 26, with opening set for Sunday, December 14.

Manhattan Theatre Works (MTWorks), in association with the Theater Series at the 14th Street Y, will present the World Premiere of Sweet, Sweet Spirit by Carol Carpenter (Outstanding Playwriting for Good Lonely People - Planet Connections Awards), directed by Joan Kane (2011 People of the Year in Indie Theatre - Martin Denton, nytheatre.com). Sweet, Sweet Spirit will play a three week limited engagement at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue).
