Tyler Childers' anticipated debut album, Purgatory, is now streaming in full exclusively at NPR Music's First Listen series.

Tyler Childers' “Universal Sound” premiered yesterday at Vice's Noisey and is now available to stream/share via SoundCloud. Of the music, Noisey declares, “…immediately places Childers in the conversation with the top tier of artists reviving classic country sounds for a new generation.”

Of the song, Rolling Stone praises, “…Childers blends that ethereal, off-kilter edge of bluegrass with Seventies country and an analog, Southern rock slant on 'Whitehouse Road,' and lyrics that dig deep into the struggle to dull the pain of life in rural America.”

Profiles Theatre announces the third and final extension for their hit world premiere of Assisted Living by Deirdre O'Connor, directed by Profiles Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The critically acclaimed production has been extended an additional four weeks, through March 18, 2012, at Profiles alternate venue The Second Stage, 3408 N. Sheffield in Chicago.
