On November 13th, the company of The Mystery of Edwin Drood celebrated their opening night with the Gypsy Robe ritual with the company's recipient Eric Sciotto. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the event and brings you full photo coverage below!

A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, on April 24 the robe was presented to NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT 'gypsy' Cameron Adams.

One of the greatest joys of our job is seeing our audiences transformed by a theatre performance. At some point in Roundabout's 46-year history, you've likely experienced a play or musical that has inspired you. Roundabout has been fortunate to produce award-winning productions on Broadway for 20 years now. You may even recall our first Broadway production of Anna Christie at the Criterion Center in 1992.

Last week on April 8, 2010, Actor's Equity's 2nd Vice President Rebecca Kim Jordan hosted the famed Gypsy Robe Ceremony for company members of THE ADDAMS FAMILY at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, COME FLY AWAY chorus member Kristine Bendul turned over the robe to ADDAMS FAMILY cast member Jim Borstelmann. BroadwayWorld was there for the celebration.

On Monday, October 13th, some of Broadway's best dancers and performers joined together for KICKIN' IT: Broadway Gives Back at The Ailey Citigroup Theater (405 W 55th St @ 9th Ave). The concert was in honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness. BWW was there to capture the emotional evening of song and dance for a truly worthy cause.

The final concert in Town Hall's Summer Broadway Festival, ALL SINGIN'! ALL DANCIN!' took place on July 28th at 8PM. The production of ALL SINGIN'! ALL DANCIN'! featured well known Broadway showtunes sporting brand new choreography exclusively created by Joshua Rhodes and danced by the talented Broadway hoofers of today, including Kendrick Jones, Megan Sikora, Melinda Sullivan, Lisa Gadja and Lorin Latarro.

CURTAINS, the Musical Comedy Whodunit from John Kander and Fred Ebb, the creators of Cabaret and Chicago, will play its final performance on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Sunday, June 29th at 3:00 PM following 511 performances and 26 previews.

Tony Award winning Curtains star David Hyde Pierce will appear on 'Live with Regis and Kelly' on Monday, March 3 at 9AM. In the New York area, 'Live with Regis & Kelly' airs on WABC-TV Channel 7.

Curtains, playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), recently welcomed Erin Davie (ingenue Niki Harris) and Gerry Vichi (producer Sidney Bernstein) to the cast of the Musical Comedy Whodunit

David Hyde Pierce, the winner of the 2007 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Curtains, will appear on tonight's episode of 'The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch.' The show airs on CNBC at 10:00 PM (ET) tonight, February 7.

Erin Davie will join the cast of Curtains on Friday, February 15 as ingénue Niki Harris, replacing original cast member Jill Paice.
