On March 22, David Cassidy presents The World's Greatest Teen Idols in concert at the Theatre at Westbury featuring David, Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits) and Micky Dolenz (Monkees). This is the beginning of a year-long tour of the United States that will include venues from New York to California.

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival (www.baltplayfest.org) continues its Thirty-Second Season with a play-reading marathon on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at The Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre (www.spotlighters.org), 817 Saint Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21202, 410-752-1225. Starting at 11:00 a.m., plays to be read are Unprotected, by Amy Bernstein, followed at 1:00 p.m. by Not Another Damn Coming of Age Story, by Sharon Goldner, and at 3:00 p.m. by The Bra Plays, by Rosemary Frisino Toohey. After each reading there will be a discussion of the script with the playwright, director and actors. The event is free, and the general public is encouraged to attend.

Former Broadway actress Evelyn Ward, first wife of Jack Cassidy and mother of David Cassidy, passed away on December 23, 2012, from Alzheimer's. She was 89.

The "Once In A Lifetime" UK tour, which will see David Cassidy, Leo Sayer, Hot Chocolate and Smokie share a stage together for the very first time, kicks-off tomorrow evening (Friday Nov 9th) at the Birmingham LG Arena.

Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish a memoir by beloved Oscar-winning actress Shirley Jones, star of films including Oklahoma!, Carousel, and The Music Man; and for her iconic television role as Shirley Partridge on The Partridge Family, it was announced by Louise Burke, Executive Vice President and Publisher. The book is scheduled for publication in June 2013.

In her current cabaret show at 54 Below, Marin Mazzie, who has starred in Passion, Ragtime, Kiss Me Kate, Man of La Mancha, Spamalot and Next to Normal, pays homage to her childhood and teenage years in Rockford, Illinois, to the songs her parents loved, and to some of the 1960s and 1970s hits that fed Mazzie's passion to be a singer. ("These songs were the foundation for what was to come.") And man, was she sexy doing it.

The Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC), recipient of the 2012 Caffe Cino Fellowship Award from the Innovative Theatre Foundation, has announced their additional IT Award Nominations and their 12th Season featuring the New York Premiere of Gregory S. Moss's (punkplay, House of Gold) Billy Witch and Willy Russell's (Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine) Blood Brothers.
