Artistic Director Braden Abraham today announced Seattle Repertory Theatre's 2016-2017 Season. PS122's Spring Gala 2016 celebrates three contemporary luminaries whose influence ripples across borders and through generations by honoring Annie-B Parson and Paul Lazar, the visionary team behind Big Dance Theater. In addition, Nicole Birmann Bloom, of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, will receive the Shining Star Award for her unwavering dedication to New York City arts and French-American cultural exchange.

Royal Ballet Principal Natalia Osipova and 'bad boy of ballet' Sergei Polunin will dance the principal roles in the first movement of virtuoso young composer Adam Donen's epic Symphony to a Lost Generation , the world's first feature-length fully holographic dramatic production, a moving depiction of the human tragedy of the First World War. The production premieres at LSO St Luke's from the 28-31 May. Polunin and Osipova will be dancing together at Sadler's Wells in June.

BRIC is pleased to welcome Brooklyn songwriter Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn and Los Angeles musical polymath Jherek Bischoff to BRIC House on May 5. The night will feature sets from both Mirah and Bischoff, with a euphonious string quartet rounding out the band. Two-time Grammy nominee Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower will perform a folk rock concert for families on Sunday, April 10 at 11:30am at the Jewish Museum. Mitchell, a singer and guitarist known for reinterpreting classic folk songs for children and their parents, will be joined by her fourteen-year-old daughter Storey, her husband Daniel Littleton, and special guests Simi Stone and The M Shanghai Stringband. Damian Woetzel continues his DEMO series uniting artists around a common theme, April 22-23, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. This installment of the multi-genre series features Memphis jookin' dance pioneer Lil Buck, along with fellow jooker Ron "Prime Tyme" Myles, and musicians Sandeep Das (tabla), Johnny Gandelsman (violin), Cristina Pato (gaita), Wu Tong (sheng), David Teie (cello), and singer, song-writer, and multi-instrumentalist Kate Davis. This adventurous cast of musicians and dancers will explore, through their performances, the worlds they came from, collaboratively reinventing their own instruments and art forms around the theme of Place.
