Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans are proud to announce the 2009-2010 Northlight Season, which includes Roger Bean's pop musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes; Stephen Temperley's comedic musical tribute, Souvenir directed by David Bell; Clifford Odets' Depression-era classic Awake and Sing directed by Amy Morton and featuring Rondi Reed and Mike Nussbaum; Hugh Leonard's Irish drama, A Life directed by BJ Jones, starring John Mahoney; and another production to be announced.

In honor of National Grandparents Day, all Grandparents attending the hit musical comedy The Boys from Syracuse at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook, 100 Drury Lane, will receive a complimentary Crème Brulee dessert on Sunday, September 7. The Flight of Crème Brulee features a decadent trio of chocolate, raspberry and vanilla flavors and will be served in the restaurant adjacent to the theater after the 2:00 p.m. performance or before the 6:00 p.m. performance. Emerging Artists Theatre announces the 2008 Triple Threat Premiere, the company's third annual series of three full-length plays by emerging writers. The four-week off-Broadway engagement will take place at the Rose Nagelberg Theater at Baruch Performing Arts Center. Performances begin Monday, February 4 and continue through Sunday, March 2.
