Pioneer Theatre Company reprises its successful concert series for a limited run. Richard O'Brien's raucous musical THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW is being offered as a special event, for four performances only, in a script-in-hand, singing-and-dancing concert-style presentation on Thursday, October 22, at 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 23 at 8:00 p.m. andSaturday, October 24 at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Pioneer Theatre Company has just announced the key cast members for this year's production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW - CONCERT VERSION, which will run for four performances October 22-24, 2015. Broadway's Will Swenson will play 'Dr. Frank N. Furter'.
Agatha Christie's classic whodunit, 'The Mousetrap,' will be presented as a Script in Hand playreading at Westport Country Playhouse, on Monday, December 15, at 7 p.m. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $15 each.

Last night, November 10, The Lilly Awards Foundation with the Broadway at Birdland Series presented The Lilly Awards Broadway Cabaret: An evening of showstoppers written by women and performed by Broadway's Best to benefit The Lilly Awards Foundation whose mission is to promote gender parity at all levels of theatrical production, and develop and celebrate the work of women in the theater. Additional Performers have been added to The Lilly Awards Broadway Cabaret including Adrienne Warren (Bring It On), Sydney Lucas (Fun Home), David Beach, Adam Guettel, Brooks Ashmanskas and original Broadway cast members Keala Settle, Alison Case, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Kathleen Monteleone, Jim Newman and Dale Soules joining Amanda Green singing a song from her show Hands on a Hard Body.

Richard O'Brien's raucous musical The Rocky Horror Show is being offered as a special event, for three performances only, in a script-in-hand, singing-and-dancing concert-style presentation on Friday, October 24at 8:00 p.m. and at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
Strong performances highlight this production. Beach, who created the role of Henry in The Great American Mousical at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in 2012 is a comic genius (loved him in the original Urinetown on Broadway). He's sleazy enough to be believable as the devil, yet sarcastic enough to be likable.

Goodspeed brings a unique New England flavor to its production, setting it in 1955 Boston and pitting the storied Yanks against the beloved Boston Red Sox. Longtime songwriting team MARCY HEISLER (Author/Lyricist) and ZINA GOLDRICH (Composer) are set to make their 2014 Broadway debut with EVER AFTER, directed by Kathleen Marshall and produced by Kevin McCollum, Scott Landis and Philip Morgaman. They were the first women ever honored with the Fred Ebb Award for Musical Theatre Songwriting, and Heisler was awarded the 2012 Kleban Prize for Outstanding Lyrics.
