Playing on Air, a new public radio show that features short stage plays performed by great American actors, is now available online for listening, streaming and downloading.

On Monday, January 7, songwriting team Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich came together for the 13th Broadway at Birdland 'Marcy & Zina Show' musical extravaganza, co-starring their friends Scott Coulter, David Beach, Jill Abramovitz, Jennifer Jones, Christine Pedi and Noah Galvin. The band included Mike Croiter on drums, Clay Ruede on cello and Pete Donovan on bass.

The Great American Mousical, a smart and funny celebration of life in the theatre, is currently running through December 9, 2012. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the production below.

Two time Tony Award-winning Goodspeed Musicals has just announced the cast of the new musical The Great American Mousical, to be directed by Julie Andrews. This developmental production will run November 8 - December 2, 2012 at The Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Connecticut. The Great American Mousical will be sponsored by Essex Meadows. Tony Award nominee, Emily Skinner, is set to star in THE GREAT AMERICAN MOUSICAL, directed by Julie Andrews, at the Goodspeed Musicals' Norma Terris Theatre, November 8 through December 2 as a developmental production. She will play a diva mouse named Adelaide.
