Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for MATILDA THE MUSICAL, produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, go on sale to the public on Friday, January 22.  The First National Tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL will play Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W Randolph) March 22 through April 10, 2016.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the First National Tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL welcomes David Abeles in the role of Miss Trunchbull. He joins a company that includes Jennifer Blood (Miss Honey), Quinn Mattfeld (Mr. Wormwood), and Cassie Silva (Mrs. Wormwood), and three girls sharing the title role - Sarah McKinley Austin, Lily Brooks O'Briant, Savannah Grace Elmer.

Casting has been announced for the Memphis engagement of the First National Tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL. The Signature Theatre productions of Arthur Miller's Incident at Vichy, directed by Michael Wilson, and Naomi Wallace's Night is a Room, directed by Bill Rauch, will both play their final performances this Sunday, December 20 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Sundance Institute today announced the acting company and creative advisors that are participating in its 2015 Theatre Lab, which kicked off yesterday and runs through July 26 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Lab is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community and is one of 24 residency Labs the Institute hosts each year for independent artists in theatre, film, new media and episodic content.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) just honored internationally acclaimed theatre designer and six-time Tony Award Winner Bob Crowley at the NYTW 2015 Spring Gala last night.
