The Off-Broadway League recently announced nominations in 18 categories for the 30th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Lortel Awards are being handed out tonight, Sunday, May 10, 2015 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST, and BroadwayWorld will be updating the winners as they are announced!

The world premiere production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, concludes its run tonight, May 3, at The Public Theater. But this is not the end of the road for the company. HAMILTON will start performances on Broadway on July 13 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where tickets are already on sale.

BUZZER marks the return of Wilson to The Public following her acclaimed The Good Negro in 2009 and The Story in 2003. When the Public Theatre announced HAMILTON's third extension earlier this month, rumors fizzled that the show would in fact transfer to Broadway in time for the 2015 Tony Awards eligibility cut off. Just today, however, the Public announced a special event for tomorrow afternoon, at which the 'HAMILTON creative team, producers and company along with the Public Theater staff at a special gathering to celebrate this new musical.'
