The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, a new play by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice, announced today that a new block of tickets are now on sale, through January 6, 2013. Directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher began performances on March 28, 2012 and opened April 15, 2012, and is playing at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hunger Games director Gary Ross will helm an upcoming film adaptation of PETER AND THE STARCATCHERS- the book on which the Tony-winning play is based. Jesse Wigutow is on board to pen the script.

Yesterday, July 11, Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play written by Rick Elice and directed by Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, celebrated its 100th performance at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. In honor of the occasion, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has officially proclaimed July 11, 2012 as "Peter and the Starcatcher Day" in New York City.

Canal Park Playhouse will present EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE, created and performed by Mark Nizer, for one weekend only! EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE begins performances tonight, June 15 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 17. Performances take place at Canal Park Playhouse (508 Canal Street, between Greenwich and West Streets in Tribeca).
