Roundabout Theatre Company has announced additional casting for The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry,' Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie,' Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max.' Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet). This is a limited engagement. The cast also includes Alex Breaux as 'Brodie' and Madeline Weinstein as 'Debbie.' Final casting to be announced.
FringeArts Sets Free Late-Night Festival Bar Entertainment

Opening Night of the 18th Annual Philadelphia Fringe Festival (Sept 5, 2014), will launch three weeks of free late-night comedy, theater and music at FringeArts' permanent home at 140 N. Columbus Blvd. (at Race Street). The late-night lineup will feature local favorites and international performers each night of the 2014 Fringe Festival (Sept. 5-21).

Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi have officially boarded the Barry Levinson directed drama “The Humbling,” starring Al Pacino, Mandy Patinkin, Kyra Sedgwick, Charles Grodin, Dianne Wiest, Greta Gerwig and Louise Trenner. Iervolino and Bacardi are co-producers – producing alongside Al Pacino, Jason Sosnoff and Ged Dickersin.

AMBI Pictures, the Italy-based film development, finance and production company run by Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi, today announced that Danny Glover (“Lethal Weapon” series, “Saw” “The Color Purple”), Daryl Hannah (“Kill Bill” “Blade Runner” “Splash”), Rutger Hauer (“Blade Runner” “Sin City” “Batman Begins”), Stephen Baldwin (“The Usual Suspects” “Born on the 4th of July”) and Michael Madsen (“Reservoir Dogs” “Kill Bill” “Donnie Brasco”) have signed on to star in the action thriller “Sights of Death” / “S.O.D,” which will be directed by Alessandro Capone (“L'amore nascosto” “Superstition 2”).

Zoë Bell, the international action icon discovered by Quentin Tarantino, will appear at Museum of the Moving Image with a preview screening of her new film Raze, on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. In this exciting and relentlessly hyperviolent action film directed by Josh Waller, she stars as a woman forced to do battle with other innocents for the amusement of unseen spectators. Leading in to this special screening and appearance, the Museum will also present a retrospective of her work—chronicling her transformation from stuntwoman to star—in the films Whip It, Death Proof, and Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 on January 4 and 5.
