Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. At a ceremony held Thursday night in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2015 MAC Awards. The show was hosted by Karen Mason, with musical direction by Barry Levitt, and was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts. BroadwayWorld brings you photos of the evening below!

Music at the Mansion Continues in January

Cabaret Life NYC: With the Urban Stages 12-Day Winter Rhythms Series Opening 12/2, Producer Peter Napolitano Offers An Inside Look

t may not be like getting a gift on each of the 12 Days of Christmas, but for cabaret and musical theater lovers, the 6th Annual Urban Stages Winter Rhythms series--presented over a dozen nights at the not-for-profit Off-Broadway theatre on 259 West 30th Street--could be the closest thing to opening a daily present by the tree. From December 2-14 (no shows on Dec. 9), more than 100 singers, musicians, and songwriters will perform in an eclectic mix of 20 shows including one-night-only group shows, excerpts from new musicals, solo shows, open mics, late night spotlights, and family matinees, with all the proceeds from ticket sales dedicated to the Urban Stages On Tour Outreach Program that brings more than 200 free multicultural theater and music programs to elementary and middle school age children and their families in libraries and schools throughout NYC five boroughs.

Urban Stages, in association with producer/director/lyricist and Director of Musical Programming Peter Napolitano, today announced that Tony Award Nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo will join the line-up for their sixth series of musical evenings entitled WINTER RHYTHMS 2014, beginning Tuesday, December 2nd and continuing through Sunday, December 14th at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street, just East of 8th Avenue).

BWW Interview: Tony Nominee Daniel Jenkins Discusses Return as Huck Finn in 54 SINGS BIG RIVER

Tony nominee Daniel Jenkins originated the role of Huck in the original Broadway production of BIG RIVER and earned both a Tony and Drama Desk nomination for his portrayal. He also starred as Mark Twain/Voice of Huck in the critically acclaimed 2003 Deaf West Production of the musical, which is quickly becoming a classic. Now, he's ready to revisit the material that changed his life in the upcoming 54 SINGS BIG RIVER at Broadway's Supper Club, 54 Below. Joined by fellow original cast members Marin Mazzie and Jennifer Leigh Warren, as well as the 2003 revival's Michael McElroy. Jenkins took the time to chat with BroadwayWorld about the upcoming performance and what it's like to be involved in such an incredible reunion. Read the full interview below!

Winners in twenty-five categories were announced. The show was hosted by the vivacious singer, band leader, multiple MAC Award winner and 2014 Nominee, Terese Genecco. The gala was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, the current MAC President. Don Rebic served as Musical Director.
