The 121 nominees in the 25 categories are all listed below, representing 57 different theater productions in the Chicago area which opened between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010. These productions were mounted by 33 separate theaters or companies.

American Theater Company announces the addition of new performance dates for its hit productions of David Mamet's Oleanna and Speed-the-Plow, directed by Steppenwolf Ensemble Member Rick Snyder. Both productions have been extended through October 31, 2010 and are now playing in repertory at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron in Chicago.

Profiles Theatre, currently celebrating its 22nd Season, has acquired the former Stage Left Theatre space, located at 3408 N. Sheffield. The fifty-seat theatre will managed by Profiles beginning September 1, 2010, and will be renamed The Second Stage. Profiles will continue to perform at and operate its home theatre, 4147 N. Broadway.

The Jeff Awards have announced 105 nominations in 24 categories for Non-Equity Jeff Awards, which honor excellence in Chicago theatres not under a union contract, for productions that opened between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2010. The Jeff Awards judged the opening nights of 116 productions offered by 55 non-Equity producing organizations and recommended 51 shows for further judging, making those 51 eligible for Non-Equity Jeff Award nominations in all categories.

American Theater Company proudly announces Season 26, which includes the 40th Anniversary revival of The Original Grease with restored, revised and R-rated book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey and directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli; Two David Mamet classics in rotating repertory: Oleanna directed by Rick Snyder and Speed-the-Plow directed by ATC Ensemble member Jaime Castañeda; and the World Premiere of The Big Meal written by Dan LeFranc and directed by Dexter Bullard. It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play directed by Jason W. Gerace, will return for its ninth holiday season.
