Up on the Marquee: A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER

Jefferson Mays and Bryce Pinkham will lead Broadway's bloody brilliant new musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, also starring Lisa O'Hare, Lauren Worsham, Jane Carr, Pamela Bob, Joanna Glushak, Eddie Korbich, Jeff Kready, Mark Ledbetter, Jennifer Smith, Don Stephenson, Price Waldman, and Catherine Walker. Following critically acclaimed, smash-hit runs at Hartford Stage and San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder will begin performances on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Broadway'sWalter Kerr Theatre, and officially open on Sunday, November 17. Tickets to Julie Taymor's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at Polonsky Shakespeare Center Now on Sale

Single tickets go on sale today, September 13, for Theatre for a New Audience's inaugural production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by multiple Tony Award-winner Julie Taymor with original music composed by Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning Elliot Goldenthal, at the Theatre's newly-named building, Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place between Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street, Brooklyn.

Hartford Stage, under the leadership of Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak and Managing Director Michael Stotts, presents Classical Repertory for a New Generation, the theatre's new initiative to produce two classics in repertory each season, featuring a new adaptation of Marivaux's La Dispute, in repertory with Shakespeare's Macbeth, both directed by Tresnjak, the first shows of the Tony Award-winning theatre's 50th Anniversary Season.

Marc Kudisch, Katie Thompson & More Set for The Coterie: DOWNTOWN/UPTOWN Today

The Coterie, a downtown New York-based music theater company, goes uptown to the Church of the Advent Hope (111 East 87th Street) tonight, September 9th at 8:00pm to present their latest concert of seven world premieres and past favorites celebrating the company's commitment to musical storytelling, from operatic arias and art song to indy rock jams and musical theater numbers.

Three-time Tony Award-nominated actor Marc Kudisch (Thoroughly Modern Millie, 9 to 5, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) joins Lauren Worsham (Dog Days, Where's Charley?), Joshua Jeremiah (Anna Nicole, La Perichole), Katie Thompson (Giant), Theresa McCarthy (Queen of the Mist, Floyd Collins, Titanic), Eve Gigliotti (Dark Sisters, Die Walkure at the Metropolitan Opera), Amelia Watkins (Sumeida's Song, Song from the Uproar), Jeff Gavett (loadbang), Cree Carrico (New York Philharmonic's Carousel) in singing for 'The Coterie: Downtown/Uptown.'

Public Theater Presents Three Screenings for THE WALLACE SHAWN-ANDRE GREGORY PROJECT This Weekend

The Public Theater and Theatre for a New Audience will present three special screenings of Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory's most beloved films, Andre Gregory: Before and After Dinner, Vanya on 42nd Street, and My Dinner With Andre, at Joe's Pub at The Public in August. These three screenings are presented as part of the current retrospective, The Wallace Shawn-Andre Gregory Project, celebrating the 40-year collaboration between these two artists.

KING LEAR, THE KILLER & More Featured in Theatre for a New Audience's 2013-14 Season

Founded in 1979 by its Artistic Director, Jeffrey Horowitz, Theatre for a New Audience's next act is about to begin with the opening of its Center for Shakespeare and Classical Drama in Brooklyn. The inaugural production is Julie Taymor's staging of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare with original music by Elliot Goldenthal. Previews begin October 19 for an opening on November 2.
