Hartford Children's Theatre (HCT) announced today they will close and end all programming, including their children's theatre educational programs, at the end of December 2012. After a successful run at The Flea, the theater has announced the extension of the U.S. Premiere of I HATE F*CKING MEXICANS by Luis Enrique Gutierrez Ortiz Monasterio "the enfant terrible of contemporary Mexican theater." Translated by Debbie Saivetz, Ana Graham, and Danya Taymor and directed by Ms. Taymor, a Flea Resident Director; the production features members of The Bats and The Riot Group's Adriano Shapman. Previews began October 9, with opening night on October 18. The show is now extended with limited performances through December 11.
