Six-time Oscar nominated and Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony Award-winning actress Glenn Close will be honored with the American Giving Awards Leadership Award for her philanthropic endeavors at the second annual AMERICAN GIVING AWARDS PRESENTED BY CHASE. Hosted by Joel McHale (NBC's "Community," "The Soup"), the AGAs will be broadcast on NBC tonight, December 8 (8-10 p.m. ET) from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Calif.

They are joined by a thirteen-piece band (Michael Rafter, Music Director), playing new orchestrations by Tony Award winner Jonathan Tunick. Larry Moss directs, with musical staging by Joshua Bergasse ("Smash"). Carolyn Wong provides lighting design, with sound design by Leon Rothenberg and projection design by Telegraphicmedia.
