Eliot Lewis is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist as well as being a key member of the the Daryl Hall & John Oates band. Today, USA Network revealed the 21 artists competing in its new music showcase series REAL COUNTRY and the prizing they will be vying for. The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 PM featuring performances by Bailey Bryan, Barry Dean, Sam Palladio and Cassadee Pope. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance cost $25 and go on sale Friday, Nov. 2 at 12:00 PM/CT at CMAsongwritersseries.com.  

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series wrapped the second-annual U.K. and European tours with a final show in London, England. Stops on the European tour included Stockholm, Oslo, Hamburg and Amsterdam before heading to the U.K. for shows in Glasgow, Liverpool, Gateshead, Manchester and London. Featured artists on the tour, that ran from Oct. 8 – 22, included Kassi Ashton, Ashley Campbell, Chris DeStefano, Tenille Townes, Drake White and Charlie Worsham.

CMT today revealed an all-star tribute to country legend and 2018 “Artist of a Lifetime” Award recipient, Loretta Lynn, featuring Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley and Martina McBride. The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood. They all join previously announced presenter Sissy Spacek.

The Country Music Association visited Los Angeles Wednesday, Oct. 10 with multi-platinum superstar duo and Tree Vibez Music founders Florida Georgia Line, joined by Corey Crowder, Ernest K., HARDY, RaeLynn and Canaan Smith. During the trip, the songwriters met with students from Harmony Project for conversations about songwriting, followed by a sold-out CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at The Novo.

Schimmel Center presents all-female alt-country group Farewell Angelina-named one of Rolling Stone's Fall 2016 '10 New Country Artists You Need To Know'- today, October 5, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The concert features a special performance-Farewell Angelina's debut of 'I Feel You,' written by Kevin Bacon, and performed together with Michael Bacon, Paul Guzzone, and Frank Vilardi of The Bacon Brothers. 'I Feel You' is the bonus track of Farewell Angelina's new EP, set to be released in 2019, and the concert also offers a sneak peek of other songs set to be on the album. The evening is hosted by Paul Guzzone.

To continue this year's celebration of women, CMT has added seven new powerhouse performances to the “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” lineup: Carrie Underwood with CMT Next Women of Country and tour mates Maddie & Tae and Runaway June; Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies; Kelsea Ballerini with Alison Krauss; Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman with soul legend Gladys Knight; and Hillary Scott with singer-songwriter Tori Kelly and Grammy-award winning gospel artist Kirk Franklin. In a year of celebrating the achievements of women in country music, CMT today announced that Loretta Lynn will be honored with the “Artist of a Lifetime” award presented by Ram Trucks at this year's all-female “CMT Artists of the Year” event premiering live Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Academy Award winner and “Coal Miner's Daughter” actress Sissy Spacek will bestow the award to Lynn, who joins previous recipients of the honor including Shania Twain (2016), Kenny Rogers (2015), and Merle Haggard (2014).
