TVLine reports that 'Spy Kids' actress Rowan Blanchard has been cast in the role of the high school sweetheart's 13-year-old daughter, Riley in the upcoming Disney spinoff of BOY MEETS WORLD.

Following Disney's announcement of a spin-off of the hit 1990s sitcom BOY MEETS WORLD, featuring original stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, fans have been heralding behind a full-cast reunion on the sequel series. Today, Trina McGee, who played 'Angela Moore' on the series, confirmed she was open to appearing on the spin-off, GIRL MEETS WORLD.

Now that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have confirmed that they will appear in the upcoming BOY MEETS WORLD sequel, co-star Will Rider, who portrayed Cory's best bud Shawn Hunter, has hinted that he may visit the proposed series as well.

TVline reports that Disney Channel is currently in the 'early stages of developing' of a BOY MEETS WORLD sequel. The project will be titled 'Girl Meets World,' and will center on the daughter of the original series character Cory Matthews.
