TV: MTC's Broadway-Bound THE COUNTRY HOUSE COMPANY Meets the Press!

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere co-production of The Country House, the new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, will begin previews Tuesday, September 9 and open Thursday, October 2 at MTC's Samuel J. FriedmanTheatre (261 West 47th Street). The Country House is produced in association with the Geffen Playhouse. THE COUNTRY HOUSE stars Tony and Emmy Award winner Blythe Danner, Kate Jennings Grant (The Lyons, Proof), Eric Lange (FX's 'The Bridge,' 'Weeds'), David Rasche (Regrets Only, Speed-the-Plow), Sarah Steele (Slowgirl, Speech and Debate), and Tony nominee Daniel Sunjata (TNT's 'Graceland,' Take Me Out). MTC's THE COUNTRY HOUSE with Blythe Danner Begins Rehearsals Today

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere co-production of THE COUNTRY HOUSE, the new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, begins rehearsals today. The limited engagement will begin previews Tuesday, September 9 and open Thursday, October 2 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). THE COUNTRY HOUSE is produced in association with the Geffen Playhouse.

Coby Ryan McLaughlin Lands Recurring Role on USA's GRACELAND

McLaughlin will guest star as Archie, a mainstay in the LAPD's Gang Task Force. Sharp as a tack and loyal to a fault, the members of “Graceland” hope he'll be an ally in their mission to destroy the cartel.

REG E. CATHEY (House of Cards, The Wire) joins the cast of EXODUS: DREAMS OF THE PROMISED LAND IN ANTEBELLUM AMERICA, playing multiple roles including Solomon Northrup (Twelve Years a Slave) and the Abolitionist Frederick Douglass. The cast also includes ROSALYN COLEMAN WILLIAMS (The Mountaintop, Seven Guitars, The Piano Lesson) in multiple roles including Elizabeth Keckley (familiar to audiences from the movie Lincoln), JENNIFER RAU as Abolitionist Angelina Grimke, and the noted vocal ensemble THE WESTERN WIND. Conceived by Salon/Sanctuary's Founding Artistic Director Jessica Gould to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, EXODUS was originally presented last year in a sold-out performance staged at the historic Fraunces Tavern, the oldest structure in Manhattan.

Carmine Giovinazzo (“CSI: NY”) and­­­­­­ Jon Sklaroff (“24”) will guest star in the second season of USA Network's provocative one-hour hit drama series GRACELAND, which follows a group of elusive undercover agents from the FBI, DEA and ICE who live in a beach front mansion in Southern California. Inspired by true events, the series captured a broad freshman audience, averaging 4M total viewers. Season two of GRACELAND will premiere this summer on USA.
