Welcome back, friends and family of The Bachelorette!!! The eleventh season has officially begun, and I am officially in my happy place. Although not quite as happy as I would normally be, due to the fact that this time around, there are TWO Bachelorettes to start. Kaitlyn, the fun-loving, Canadian dance instructor, and Britt, the absolutely stunning yet possibly manipulative waitress from Los Angeles (duh: actress). Can you tell whose side I'm on?
About the play: 'The Arragons are a nationally acclaimed traveling band of bluegrass/folk musicians, returning this July from their year-long tour to the place that started it all, The Messina. They are presenting the story of their time together as a band on tour: the struggle, the love and betrayal, and a witty battle of the sexes. These events have inspired the band to write the music of their new album, Much Ado About Nothing. For a few special performances at their favorite venue, The Arragons will be giving a sneak peak of their new songs and an inside look into the lives of the artists.'
London's Donmar Warehouse is currently featuring Douglas Hodge and Karen Gillan in INADMISSIBLE EVIDENCE, aso starring Karen Gillan, Esther Hall, Amy Morgan, Alice Sanders, Daniel Ryan, Serena Evans, and Al Weaver.
Bill Maitland, a middle aged lawyer, struggles to avoid the harsh truths of his life and keep a hold on reality. As those closest to him begin to draw away, he puts himself on trial to fight for his sanity. John Osborne's poignant, witty and intensely compelling portrait of loss, betrayal and defeat unleashes the author's characteristic soaring rhetorical venom to powerful effect.
Douglas Hodge and Karen Gillan are set to lead INADMISSIBLE EVIDENCE at the Donmar Warehouse, reports The Daily Mail.
Jamie Lloyd, associate director of the Donmar Warehouse, will direct the production; Soutra Gilmour will serve as designer, and Ben and Max Ringham will compose a score, all evoking what Lloyd refers to as a 'Mad Men' sixties feel.
