SLIPPING Opens The Love Story Of 2 Iowa Boys Plays Rattlestick Playwrights 7/28

Piece by Piece Productions and Rising Phoenix Repertory in association with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will present the New York premiere of Slipping, written by Daniel Talbott and directed by Kirsten Kelly, beginning Tuesday, July 28 at 8pm at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. The opening night is set for Tuesday, August 4 at 7pm.

Rehearsals start today, Thursday, July 2, for Slipping, written by Daniel Talbott and directed by Kirsten Kelly. Presented by Piece by Piece Productions and Rising Phoenix Repertory in association with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Slipping begins performances for its New York premiere Tuesday, July 28 at 8pm at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. The New York Playwrights Lab - the 35 year-old organization founded keep established playwrights writing for the theatre - will offer a sample of its members' newest works in a series of free readings at 6:00 PM January 19-23 at the Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City.

TOO MUCH MEMORY Sells Out Entire Run Thru 12/22 Closing

Following rave reviews Too Much Memory, written by Keith Reddin and Meg Gibson, and directed by Ms. Gibson, has sold out its run through its closing on Monday, December 22, at the Fourth Street Theatre, 83 East 4th Street. The Rising Phoenix Repertory and Piece by Piece production opened Tuesday, December 9, to rave reviews as part of New York Theatre Workshop's Jonathan Larson Lab. All performances are sold out. Those wishing to be put on a waiting should arrive at the theatre 45 minutes prior to curtain.

Rising Phoenix Rep Remounts Fringe Hit TOO MUCH MEMORY

Rising Phoenix Repertory has been joined by Piece by Piece Productions to remount the world premiere of Too Much Memory, written by Keith Reddin and Meg Gibson, and directed by Ms. Gibson, beginning Tuesday, December 2, at 8:30pm at Fourth Street Theatre, 83 East 4th Street.

Radnor and Westfeldt Join 'Finks' Cast

A sweeping tale of love and friendship, set against the trials and tragedy of the blacklist of the 1950s, is the basis of Joe Gilford's Finks, directed by Charlie Stratton, that will receive its world premiere at Vassar and New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theater with a cast led by Josh Radnor (star of CBS's How I Met Your Mother) and Tony Award-nominated Jennifer Westfeldt (Wonderful Town, Kissing Jessica Stein), July 23 - August 3.

Naked Angels Gathers Stars To Promote New Work, 5/28-6/9

Naked Angels, New York's eternally boundary-pushing theater company, will, in the latter half of 2008, embark on a new chapter in their storied history, commencing with 'Angels in Progress: Old School at The New School,' a workshop series of new American plays that will be presented from May 28 - June 9 at The New School for Drama (151 Bank Street).

'6969' & 'Rat Experiment' Among Winners of NY IT Awards

On September 24, 2007, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2007 award recipients at a spectacular evening hosted by Julie Halston. The awards were announced last evening at 7PM in FIT's Haft Auditorium located in Building C of FIT's campus on 27th Street (bwt 7/8 aves) to a standing room only crowd.
