Anyone who loves movies such as Office Space, loathes their boss, or has ever been at odds with the 'buffoonery' of big business, take note: Virginia Musical Theatre (VMT) is back at it again with another production that will leave audiences laughing, relating, and commiserating. Broadwaysted Podcast Welcomes DEAR EVAN HANSEN's Emmy-Winner Michael Park

Yo. Sup? Oh you know, just chilling while Game Master Kimberly is off on her honeymoon.  This week, it's a Broadwaysted Bro-isode with DEAR EVAN HANSEN'S Michael Park. The boys are cracking some brews while Michael talks about his experience with PHANTOM (no not the one you're thinking) and Kevin and Bryan talk about their Bro-date to see PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway for the first time (yes, that one).

BWW Interview: Rose Hemingway of KINKY BOOTS at Music Hall At Fair Park

Earlier this week, I caught up with Rose Hemingway, who returns to Dallas next week in the national tour of KINKY BOOTS. Last year, Rose created the role of Misty Mae in the critically acclaimed production of MOONSHINE: THAT HEE HAW MUSICAL, shortly after making a name for herself in Broadway's HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. We chatted about the timeliness of KINKY BOOTS' themes, falling in love onstage with her husband, and her favorite food in the Big D.

The show has been revived several times on the Great White Way, including the 1995 production starring Matthew Broderick and the 2011 revival headlined by Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.

BWW Review: ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD, Old Vic

Fifty years on, Tom Stoppard's absurdist tragicomedy is back in the theatre where it had its professional premiere, and still just as dazzlingly virtuosic. If some of its gags, musings and metatheatrical tricks have since become overfamiliar through imitation, that's surely testament to its enduring influence.
