A new Musical Theater podcast launches on iTunes, The Set List. The Set List is a comprehensive collection of the best cabaret performances in New York City, including the works of Musical Theater composers, classical favorites, and new musical readings.

Lindsay Mendez, Patti Murin, Ben Platt & More Set for BAND GEEKS Concert at 54 Below in January

On January 18th an all-star cast will bring the musical Band Geeks to life in a concert presentation at 54 Below. The 7pm & 9:30pm shows will feature Jill Abramovitz (Cinderella, It Should've Been You), F. Michael Haynie (Wicked, NBC's Peter Pan Live), Lindsay Mendez (Wicked, Dogfight), Ruthie Ann Miles (Here Lies Love, The King and I), Mike Millan (Piece of My Heart), Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones, Fly by Night), Ben Platt (Book of Mormon, Pitch Perfect), Daniel Quadrino (Newsies, NBC's Peter Pan Live), and more to be announced soon.

54 Below Welcomes New Programming Producers, Sets Original Events

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will welcome five original programming producers: Scott Coulter, Shoshana Feinstein, Brandon Ivie, Benjamin Rauhala, and T. Oliver Reid. In their new capacity, the five producers have been commissioned to create a variety of shows including musicals in concert, songwriter celebrations, reunion concerts, and more.

NBC's PETER PAN Finds Its Pirates, Lost Boys and Darling Children; Complete Casting Announced!

NBC's PETER PAN LIVE, the network special from executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, will air on December 4. Preparing to sprinkle fairy dust across America, NBC presents a bold new LIVE television production of the classic Broadway musical that will gather friends, families and anyone who refuses to ever grow up. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the special will star Allison Williams, Christopher Walken, Christian Borle, Kelli O'Hara, Taylor Louderman and Alanna Saunders for the live production.

Broadway Understudies to Perform 'HALF HOUR 5' at Laurie Beechman, 9/21

On September 21st at 9:30pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 5: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

STAGE TUBE: Watch the NEWSIES Cast Take Their FINAL Energetic Curtain Call!

The cast of the Tony Award-winning musical NEWSIES took their excited final bows at the Nederlander Theatre today to uproarious applause from a packed audience. NEWSIES featured a Tony Award-winning score with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, with a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, NEWSIES was directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who won a 2012 Tony Award for his work. NEWSIES enjoyed almost two and a half years on Broadway.
