A KID LIKE JAKE Begins 4/19 at Richmond Triangle Players

Richmond Triangle Players continues its 24th Anniversary season with its Daniel Pearle's acclaimed play A Kid Like Jake.  Sponsored by David Peake, the production - about loving your child, no matter what - opens Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 8 pm, following a low-priced preview on Wednesday, April 19, and runs through May 13. 

Cuba Represented at This Year's Hollywood Fringe!

YOLO! Productions is proud to be bringing a revival of 'Til Sunday to the Eighth Annual Hollywood Fringe Festival. Starring the show's writer, Nairoby Otero and directed by Michael D'Angora, 'Til Sunday will begin performances at The LGBT Center the first week of June.

Theatre Nova Adds Leadership Positions to Management Team for 2017

Theatre Nova, Ann Arbor's professional playwrights' theater, now finishing up its second year of operations, is proud to announce additions to its leadership team. Founding Artistic Director, Carla Milarch, will be joined by Diane Hill and David Wolber who will both serve as Producing Artistic Directors. These experienced administrators will join the existing Theatre Nova team of Daniel C. Walker, Becky Fox, and Emilio Rodriguez in their quest to establish the group as a major theatre destination. The new, expanded team is excited to help lead the organization forward and is preparing for a number of new and exciting developments including announcing a "Supra-Season," establishing a season subscription program, continuing to improve the facility, and announcing special partnerships in the community. Theatre Nova is making a name for hot-off-the-press new works, with plays such as the new musical "Irrational" by David Wells and R. MacKenzie Lewis, and local playwright Kim Carney's poignant new work, "Katherine," along with "Mr. Joy" by Daniel Beaty, all recent critical and box office hits.

A Place for Global Theatre Artists and Storytellers to Convene and Develop New Work

Four stories of family, gender, female empowerment and migration comprise the projects supported by Sundance Institute's Theatre Program at its two-week Lab at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), taking place December 4-18. Dedicated to the creation and development of new musical theatre work, the Lab's projects are cast individually, rehearsed daily and benefit from concentrated, uninterrupted time and resources.

Samuel French Off Off Broadway Play Festival Reveals 2016 Finalists

The Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival, the nation's premier short play competition, announces the 30 finalists for its 41st festival.  Chosen from 1,500 submissions from the U.S. and abroad, these 30 plays will be presented during a week-long festival August 9 - 14. All performances will take place at the East 13th Street Theater (Classic Stage Company).

Adirondack Theatre Festival to Open 22nd Summer Season with ISLAND SONG

Kicking-off Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is ISLAND SONG. Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls) June 21st - July 2nd at 7:30pm with a special matinee performance on June 29th at 2:00 pm. Richmond Triangle Players Announces 2016-17 Season
