Wendy C. Goldberg, Artistic Director of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center?s National Playwrights Conference, today announced the eight directors for plays previously selected for its 47th season.
The Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) world premiere of CRADLE AND ALL, the new play by Daniel Goldfarb (Sarah, Sarah; Modern Orthodox), directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park With George) opens tonight, May 25 at MTC's New York City Center-Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

The award recognizes Meadow's extraordinary accomplishments and dedication to producing and directing new work Off-Broadway for over three decades. The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).
