Showtime Networks celebrated its 2019 nominees at a private event hosted at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The company feted the cast and producers of Escape at Dannemora including Ben Stiller, Patricia Arquette and Paul Dano, WHO IS AMERICA and its star and creator Sacha Baron Cohen, BLACK MONDAY's Don Cheadle, and Pop TV's SCHITTS CREEK including Dan Levy and Eugene Levy.
Dan Levy, star and co-creator of 'Schitt's Creek,' has signed an overall deal with ABC Studios. The deal means he will produce scripted projects at the studio.
In a historic morning for Pop TV, the network's acclaimed comedy series SCHITT'S CREEK received four nominations for the 71st Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Eugene Levy, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Catherine O'Hara, and Outstanding Contemporary Costumes. The nominations mark the first in the history of Pop TV which is now fully owned by CBS Corporation.

The San Diego International Film Festival (SDiFF), produced by the San Diego Film Foundation, announced today that they have honored Alex Wolff, from the Spotlight presentation "Stella's Last Weekend," with the Auteur Award and Dominique Fishback, from the Gala Presentation "The Hate U Give," with the Rising Star Award. MTV today announced the categories and nominees for the 2018 'MTV Movie & TV Awards,' hosted by Tiffany Haddish, that celebrate the actors, stories and moments that drove pop culture in the last year. The show will once again feature non-gendered categories - a change that marked an industry-first historic shift. Airing on Monday, June 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, additional categories and honors will be announced at a later date.
