Cast, Creative Team Announced for Mad Cow Theatre's THE BIG MEAL

Mad Cow Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for the poignant comic drama The Big Meal, which will take the stage Aug 5, 2016 as the ninth production of Mad Cow Theatre's Season 19. Originally scheduled to be produced on the Harriett stage at Mad Cow, The Big Meal will be presented on the more intimate Zehngebot-Stonerock stage as a result of the extension of Mad Cow's popular Avenue Q.

David Hyde Pierce Will Lead Adam Bock's A LIFE at Playwrights Horizons This Fall

Playwrights Horizons announced today that acclaimed and beloved stage and television star, Tony Award winner and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce (The Heidi Chronicles and The Maderati at PH; "Frasier," Broadway's Curtains, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Monty Python's Spamalot, next season's Hello, Dolly!) has joined the cast of A LIFE, the world premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Adam Bock (A Small Fire and The Drunken City at PH, The Receptionist, The Thugs, Swimming in the Shallows). 

Paula Vogel Coming to Playwrights' Center, 6/20

Celebrated playwright and teacher Paula Vogel will spend two days at the Playwrights' Center in June as part of the Dramatists Guild Fund's Traveling Masters Program. Vogel's visit will conclude with a public conversation on Monday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at the Playwrights' Center, 2301 E. Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis. American Theater Company Announces 2016-17 Season

American Theater Company (ATC) proudly announces Season 32, led by its newly appointed Artistic Director Will Davis and continuing the theater's dedication to developing new works. The 2016-17 season kicks off this September with the world premiere of Dan Aibel's T., an exploration of the competitive ice skating saga between Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding, directed byMargot Bordelon, Sept. 23-Oct. 30, 2016. In the New Year, ATC presents Jaclyn Backhaus' Men On Boats, making its regional premiere at ATC Jan. 6-Feb. 12, 2017, under Will Davis' direction after he remounts his acclaimed New York production Off Broadway at Playwrights Horizons this summer. Next spring brings another world premiere at ATC, Basil Kreimendahl's We're Gonna Be Okay, March 17-April 23, 2017. The production is directed by Bonnie Metzgar and was originally developed at ATC in collaboration with The Araca Group during AracaWorks: Chicago 2015. The final production of ATC's 2016-17 Season is a reimagined classic, Pulitzer Prize winner Picnic by William Inge, under Davis' direction May 19-June 25, 2017. Season subscriptions are on sale now and range from $60-$150, with special pricing available for advance purchases before July 31, 2016. Tony Nominee Jonathan Hadary to Star in INDIAN SUMMER at Playwrights Horizons

Playwrights Horizons has announced casting for INDIAN SUMMER, the world premiere of a new play by Gregory S. Moss (Reunion, punkplay, Billy Witch, La Brea, Orange Hat Grace, House of Gold), directed by Carolyn Cantor (Fly by Night, The Great God Pan, After the Revolution, Essential Self-Defense at PH; Pumpgirl; Orange Flower Water; Stone Cold Dead Serious).  Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons, the play is the sixth and final production of the theater company's acclaimed 2015/2016 Season.   

THE BIG MEAL Begins 4/21 at Chance Theater

Anaheim's official resident theater company, Chance Theater is pleased to present the Southern California premiere of ... The Big Meal. Written by Orange County native Dan LeFranc, and directed by Associate Artistic Director Jocelyn A. Brown, The Big Meal will preview from April 21 through April 28. Regular performances will begin April 30 and continue through May 22 on the Fyda-Mar Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

?WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced casting and creative team details for the regional premiere of Dan LeFranc's The Big Meal, directed by Emily Scott Banks.   The ensemble cast features John S. Davies, Lois Sonnier Hart, Jakie Cabe, Sherry Hopkins, Garret Storms, Kia Boyer, Alex Duva and Kennedy Waterman.  Making their WaterTower Theatre debuts will be Jakie Cabe, Alex Duva, Lois Sonnier Hart and Kennedy Waterman.

Playwrights Horizons begins accepting entries today, Wednesday, March 2, for the LIVEforFIVE online lottery for $5 tickets to their world premiere of ANTLIA PNEUMATICA, a new play by Anne Washburn (Mr. Burns, a post-electric play at PH; 10 Out of 12; Iphigenia at Aulis; The Internationalist).  Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons and directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll (Iowa at PH, The Internationalist, The Invisible Hand, Red Dog Howls, Middletown, What Once We Felt), the play is the fifth production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.
