The sensory-friendly adaptation of the show will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 2:00PM and is sponsored by The Hearst Foundations. Catering to both adults and children with sensitivities, this modified show fits the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other cognitive and physical disabilities. Trinity Repertory Company announces open enrollment for lifelong learning classes. The program is currently accepting registration, and fall classes begin as early as August 29. Trinity Repertory Company announced today that celebrated stage and screen actor Kate Burton will be honored with the 2013 Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts at the 17th annual Pell Awards to be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Trinity Rep. The annual fundraising event will be co-chaired by Joe & Michele Madden and Elizabeth 'Beppie' Huidekoper. Mrs. Nuala Pell will serve as the event's honorary chair.

The New York premiere of Tina Packer's WOMEN OF WILL - a groundbreaking exploration of Shakespeare's canon - written by Ms. Packer and directed by Eric Tucker ("Saint Joan") will begin preview performances on January 27 prior to an official press opening of February 3 and running through June 2 Off-Broadway at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street), it has been announced by the show's producer Sarah Hancock and its creator/star Tina Packer.

Theater educator Elaine Foster Perry will receive the Charles Sullivan Award for Distinguished Service in the Arts, Brown University President Ruth J. Simmons will receive the Pell Award For Leadership in Arts Education, and J.L. "Lynn" Singleton, President of the Providence Performing Arts Center and Professional Facilities Management, will be honored as the recipient of the Pell Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Arts. All awardees are past or current Rhode Islanders.

Trinity Rep's Education Department will once again provide students the opportunity to spend the summer exploring a world of creativity and theater under the instruction of Rhode Island's most knowledgeable theater professionals. Enrollment is now open for both the Young Actors Summer Institute (YASI), which offers classes for grades 5-12 and for YASI Jr., a week-long program for grades 1-4. The YASI class for grades 8-9 is at capacity, but interested students can be placed on a wait list. Additionally, spaces are still available for the Young Actors Studio and Lifelong Learning spring sessions, which include classes for grades 4-12, as well as selections for adult actors and theater enthusiasts.
