Friends, family and colleagues will gather on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue in Pasadena) to celebrate the life of award-winning composer Damon Intrabartolo. He died on August 13 in Arizona. Damon was 39.

Earlier this month, BroadwayWorld reported that Damon Intrabartolo, who wrote the music for BARE, passed away on August 13 in Arizona where he has been living the last few years. He was 39 years old. It was just announced on his memorial Facebook page that a New York memorial will be held on September 30th at Saint Clement's Church (46th Street), and his Los Angeles memorial on September 23rd at Pasadena Playhouse.

Full casting is announced today for cult rock musical BARE, which will transfer to Greenwich Theatre for a limited run from Wednesday 9 toSaturday 27 October 2013 (press night Friday 11 October) following its sold-out European Premiere at the Union Theatre. Bare became a cult hit when it premiered in Los Angeles in the fall of 2000. Originally scheduled to run for only six weeks, it ended up playing six months, and became the sweetheart of the musical theatre community, with numerous celebs in attendance and audience members making multiple visits, according to director's notes.

The Los Angeles revival of bare, produced by glory|struck productions premieres this fall at Downtown Los Angeles' historic Hayworth Theatre.

Thirteen years after bare, the pop opera, began its journey, bare, the rock musical, returns to Los Angeles. The glory|struck production is set to open at the Hayworth Theatre September 6 (with a preview performance on September 5).

Producers are thrilled to announce that 'Pitch Perfect' actress Shelley Regner has joined the cast of the Los Angeles revival of bare as Nadia for select performances. Regner will be filling in for Katie Stevens (Fox's 'American Idol') on dates when she will be concurrently filming the MTV Pilot 'Faking It.'

In 2004, the cast of the Off-Broadway hit BARE appeared at Joe's Pub in three sold-out concert benefits for BroadwayWorld.com with proceeds going to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

Frequent collaborator Kristin Hanggi launched a special memorial Facebook page for Damon, which includes quotes and photos from those who knew him. Many other former Bare and other colleagues have weighed in, including Ryan Raferty, Stafford Arima, Kurt Deutsch, Scott Allgauer, and more.
