Ojai Playwrights Conference to Honor Gordon Davidson and Judy Ovitz at TOWN & COUNTRY Gala

The Ojai Playwrights Conference (OPC) launches its 18th season with a benefit gala themed 'Town & Country' on Saturday, May 2, 3:00 pm, in Ojai, CA. Honoring Gordon Davidson for his decades of leadership in new play development in Los Angeles, and Judy Ovitz, an invaluable patron of the arts and OPC leader, the Benefit helps to fund the development of compelling new works for the American theatre.

Feinstein's at the Nikko Announces Lineup for CITY SINGERS for March and April

Feinstein's at the Nikko announced today the lineup for their "City Singers" series for the months of March and April. The lineup includes jazz singer Opie Bellas, San Francisco's favorite crooner, Russ Lorenson and French chanteuse Betty Roi. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.

S.T.A.G.E. GOES TO THE MOVIES Event on 5/10 Features All-Star Cast

Broadway, television and film star CHEYENNE JACKSON will make his first appearance in the 30th Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) "S.T.A.G.E. Goes to the Movies," being held on Saturday, May 10th at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. LAINIE KAZAN, RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN, MITZI GAYNOR, and JASON GOULD will also be making their first S.T.A.G.E. appearances and Tony® Award winner BETTY BUCKLEY will make her second S.T.A.G.E. turn.

Kristien, who has also starred in Camelot (with Richard Burton in the original stage production) and in the film 'King Arthur' (with Richard Harris), takes center stage at the Spencer tonight, November 16 at 8 p.m. singing a bold program of Andrew Lloyd Webber hits and other favorites from Broadway. Lloyd Webber tunes like 'Memories' (from 'Cats'), 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina' (from 'Evita') 'Everthing's Alright' (from 'Jesus Christ, Superstar') are sure to fill the bill, as are 'Phantom' sensations 'All I Ask of You' and 'Think of Me.'

Russ Lorenson Leads CHRISTMAS IN SAN FRANCISCO; Runs 12/13-14

For the eighth year, singer and recording artist Russ Lorenson comes home for the holidays with his annual show, Christmas in San Francisco, for two performances only at 7:30pm on December 13 & 14 at Pa'ina Lounge & Restaurant, 1865 Post Street in San Francisco. The guest artists for this year's show are San Francisco jazz legends Wesla Whitfield, Mike Greensill and Veronica Klaus.
