As these characters unknowingly sail to a fate Shakespeare has already scripted for them, arguments of free will and determinism abound, all set to the constant travel game of flipping coins. In this battle of wits, Stoppard's characteristic wordplay and case of mistaken identities create a spectacle that's philosophical, clownish, and complete with a pirate-ambush.

Deb Margolin - the acclaimed playwright / performance artist and Obie winner for 'Sustained Excellence' - will introduce New York audiences to her new solo play '8 Stops' at the Cherry Lane Theatre April 16 to 26.
Margolin chatted with BroadwayWorld about the inspiration for '8 Stops,' the advice she gives to her students, and how her children inspired her to write two other plays.
The Rep is commissioning Dael Orlandersmith to compose and perform a solo performance about Ferguson, Missouri. Orlandersmith is in the very early stages of writing the work now. Currently untitled, the play will tell the story of an 85-year old woman who has lived her entire life in Ferguson, Missouri, witnessing the various physical, demographic and social changes, culminating with the recent events that have made the town the subject of a national conversation.
