The Golden Girls: The Christmas Episodes -- 8th Annual All Drag Xmas Exdrag-a-ganza -- will feature all new episodes for 12 performances only this holiday season, Dec. 5 - 22, 2013, playing Thurs. Fri. & Sat. at 8:00 pm and Sun. at 7:00 pm at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig just announced that Kinky Boots, this year's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has recouped its costs in just 30 weeks. Capitalized at $13.5 million, Kinky Boots achieved this milestone faster than any big budget musical in recent history. With a Tony Award-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, the smash hit musical plays to standing-room-only crowds nightly and continues to shatter box office records at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), where it started previews on March 4 and officially opened on April 4, 2013.

Lakeshore Records has released DEAR DUMB DIARY - Original Television Soundtrack digitally and it will be available on CD October 1, 2013. Emily Alyn Lind enrolls in Mackerel Middle School to portray Jamie Kelly - the diary keeper of Jim Benton's beloved books-turned-Hallmark Channel movie. Lind performs seven original songs for the soundtrack including, "Dear Dumb Diary," "My Awesomeness is Awesome," and "Dear Future Jamie," a cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," and the new single, "Same Girl." The album also features a Karaoke mix of the title track.

The concert, which will include a number of Broadway luminaries, is a celebration of his new album, 'Writing Kevin Taylor: 2013 Concept Recording.'

STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL will tango, sashay and bogo pogo its way onto the Sydney Lyric stage from 25 March 2014, thanks to the original creative team behind the classic 1992 film, director and co-writer Baz Luhrmann, set and costume designer Catherine Martin, choreographer John 'Cha Cha' O'Connell and co-writer Craig Pearce.

News broke earlier this week that young internet sensation Sophia Grace Brownlee had been replaced in the role of Little Red Riding Hood in director Rob Marshall's forthcoming big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's fairy tale-themed musical INTO THE WOODS, now to be played by ANNIE revival star Lilla Crawford, and Brownlee's father has now addressed the situation and clarified the circumstances that led to her departure from the highly anticipated project via social media.

Following the trend of Kinky Boots castmembers to become engaged, Stephen Carrasco's fiance Lee Poulin popped the question! Stephen followed a candle lit pathway and was greeted by many of his castmembers and friends who each gave him a single rose. The Actors Fund have been hosting special performances that have been 'thrilling audiences for more than 80 years with an electric energy unlike any other night of theatre'. According to The Fund, what makes a special performance so special is that the Broadway companies happily give their time, talent, and an extra performance to benefit The Actors Fund.
