Broadway luminaries and Riverdale's most talented performers will join forces for a Gala concert production of the multi-Tony Award-winning film noir musical comedy set in 1940s Hollywood, CITY OF ANGELS.  

The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, is back for a seventh season at Lakewood Theatre Company. This year three musicals featuring the theme 'New York, New York' will be presented in a concert/cabaret style. The second offering of the series, Seesaw, will have only three performances: Today, February 17 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, February 18 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Considered the perfect musical comedy, Guys and Dolls, takes the stage at The Wick Theatre from March 9th through April 9th. Based on the short stories of Damon Runyon,  with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, Guys and Dolls won the Tony Award for Best Musical, ran for 1,200 performances on Broadway, and became an Oscar nominated film starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra. 92Y's Lyrics & Lyricists series will present BABY, DREAM YOUR DREAM: DOROTHY FIELDS AND THE WOMEN OF THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK, featuring Deborah Grace Winer (Artistic Director, Writer & Host), John Oddo (Music Director) and Mark Waldrop (Stage Director), with Marilyn Maye, Kenita Miller, Nancy Opel, Margo Seibert and Emily Skinner on vocals.

Ken Bloom, author of the new book SHOW AND TELL: The New Book of Broadway Anecdotes has won a 2017 Grammy Award in the category Best Album Notes along with his collaborator Richard CarlinIt's for Harbinger's Sissle and Blake Sing HUFFLE ALONG CD. This was Bloom's second Grammy nomination. His recording of “Maxine Sullivan Sings Great Songs from the Cotton Club” was previously nominated as Best Jazz Vocal Album.

???????New York's hottest jazz musicians and tap dancers are to star in the UK premiere of  This Joint is Jumpin', a red-hot 1920's Harlem rent party celebration of jazz icon Fats Waller's life and music, at The Other Palace Studio from 4 - 15 April.

Isaac Mizrahi has a simple question to ask: Does this song make me look fat? Any variation of that prompt is normally a strong cue to walk on eggshells, but making his Cafe Carlyle debut on January 31 with a show named for and based on that query, Mizrahi took a no-holds-barred approach to the human body and just how hilarious and, at times, revolting it can be. After opening the show with a silky-smooth cover of 'Yes' (Kander & Ebb), the fashion designer-cum-cabaret singer dove in headfirst to his fascination of body horror and the body in general. When an audience member protested over the risque-for-the-room subject of 'vodka tamponing,' Mizrahi brushed it off with a sheepish, 'Oh boy, I have some racy stuff coming.'

A three-disc studio album from Bob Dylan, Triplicate, will be released on March 31, featuring 30 brand-new recordings of classic American tunes and marking the first triple-length set of the artist's illustrious career.

Producer Stephen DeAngelis, who brought five amazing Broadway performers to Ocean State Theatre in October, returns with an all new concert featuring another five great 'straight-from-Broadway' performers - including Rhode Island's own Richard H. Blake.

Full casting of the hit Broadway musical, The Life, includes John Addison (Jojo), David Albury (Fleetwood), Jalisa Andrews (Chichi), Matthew Caputo (Oddjob), Lawrence Carmichael (Snickers), Omari Douglas (Slick), Aisha Jawando (Carmen), Thomas-Lee Kidd (Bobby), Charlotte Reavey (April), Jo Servi (Lacy), Lucinda Shaw (Tracy), Johnathan Tweedie (Theodore), T'Shan Williams (Queen) and Joanna Woodward (Mary). They join the previously announced musical theatre stars Sharon D. Clarke (Sonja), who was recently appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2017 Queen's New Year Honours for services to drama, and Cornell S. John (Memphis).

In March, a luxury train rolls into Old Town bringing nonstop laughter and mayhem. The madcap musical comedy, On the Twentieth Century, features the writing talents of Betty Comden and Adolph Greene. Original music was composed byCy Coleman, who was honored with Tony Awards for Best Original Score & Best Book (1978). This musical comedy team lent their unique comic genius and sophisticated wit to dozens of Broadway hits including On the Town and Bells are Ringing. On the Twentieth Century will be directed by Sean Murray. The production runs March 9 through April 30. Opening night for media is March 18.

Broadway vet and musical comedy genius Jason Graae will be one of several incredible performers that will be presenting JERRY HERMAN: THE BROADWAY LEGACY CONCERT at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts from January 19 - 21, 2017.
